About Adelaide Venue Management
Adelaide Venue Management is a leader in South Australia’s vibrant tourism and hospitality industry, responsible for operating three of Adelaide’s most iconic event venues: Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium, in addition to AVMCatering, the company’s outside catering arm.
Problem
Adelaide Venue Management required a global clock and weather function to be integrated into the existing PADS4 deployment throughout the entire campus. The campus features multiple different screen arrangements making this design complex.
Solution
LaunchPADS design teams came up with a simple but elegant design to match in with exisiting wayfinding designs to suit. This template was then used to create the look to every screen arrangments, from the single screen to the large video walls that are all over the campus. LaunchPADS programmed the presentations to retreive the times and weather from multiple sources and allowed weather icons to be used to give a visual representation of the weather in the various areas displayed.
